PSU Jumps Texas in Team Rankings
Lions are now second, behind Oklahoma, in the team recruiting rankings following today's acquisition of 4-star LB Khairi Fortt.

Their 2010 class is looking sick...sounds like Georgia had a shot at him but blew it when he went to visit leaving him stranded at campus party....

He's a stud...#2 OLB in the nation..PSU should be a good fit for him with friend and fellow recruit RB Silas Redd
Fortt's quote:
"They say in Happy Valley that if God wasn't a Penn State fan, why is the sky blue and white?" said Fortt. "Who am I to argue with God?"
.......Here come the Pitt haters........

Re: PSU Jumps Texas in Team Rankings
Texas hasn't had a commitment in a very long time, but Jordan Hicks is coming to town this week. Hopefully, Texas can make a good impression. Penn State passing Texas is not a shocker to me. In fact, I think i called that earlier in the year.
However, if you go by Rivals Texas is still #1 and PSU is ranked #7.

Re: PSU Jumps Texas in Team Rankings
Let me raise a few points:
(1) He has not finished his senior year. Penn State is taking a big risk by offering him a scholarship.
(2) He was recruited by PSU as a LB, he should be worried that they will turn him into a fullback.
(3) Penn State has no more scholarships to offer for the next two, maybe 20, years.
(4) No other "big time" schools wanted him.
(5) Paul Jones will soon de-commit, and he will have second thoughts about going to PSU.
(6) He should want to go to a school with a natural "in state" rival.
(7) In three years he will be forced to give up his scholarship to make room for someone else.
(8) Pat Devlin threw for 13 touchdowns versus St. Thomas Aquinas College this past weekend.
(9) Iowa has beaten PSU many times this decade, despite never winning a Big Ten title. therefore
he should reconsider.
(10) Beano Cook said he will not win four Heisman Trophies by attending Penn State. Lemming
has also confirmed this, as has the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.

Hey, I really like that "sky is blue and white analogy" about God and Penn State. How about this one? "Paterno went to Brown, which is usually the color of the back of his pants after coaching a football game".
