District 6A Standings
1. McCort
2. Bellwood
3. Portage
4. United
5. Penns Manor
6. Marion Center
7. Blacklick
8. Mo Valley
9. Mt. Union
10. Glendale
11. Juniata Valley
12. Homer Center
13. Southern Huntingdon
14. Laurel Valley
15. Blairsville
16. Saltsburg
Unoffiicial but I beleive accurate. I do not see Laurel Valley, Blairsville or Saltsburg entering the playoffs. Homer Center may be a question mark since they just got romped by Penns Manor at home and would have them on the road.

Re: District 6A Standings
the bottom few teams aren't eligible. a team must have four wins to qualify for the playoffs.

Re: District 6A Standings
The final, official standings are on the District 6 web site. But something is odd. Bishop Guilfoyle is listed as making the playoffs. But they only have a record of 3 - 6. How did they get around the 4-win minimum rule?
Also, Southern Huntingdon, who is 4 - 5, is listed as not making the playoffs. But that could have been a local school district policy. Many school districts have a 0.500 or better rule before they will allow a team to go the playoffs, regardless of whether or not the PIAA district will allow them to enter.
But, what about Bishop Guilfoyle. How did they get it with only 3 wins?

Re: District 6A Standings
I remembered reading in the Athletic director minutes on the D6 site that BG asked for .500 change because of a tougher schedule. I don't know anything about a 4 win rule though.
"Bellwood-Antis questioned the 500-rule change for A. Mr. Wotkowski said Bishop Guilfoyle requested this due to their tough schedule. Rule was changed last year Mr. Wotkowski believes."
Edit: the Altoona Mirror said that Southern Huntingdon declined the bid so BG moved up to the 13th seed
