this sounds like a good matchup to me a 4.6 vs a 4.5 fourty and about the same height, I see that "the hornet" or Jamie Lepsch has only tallied for one interception this season, but I see that he has only played in 4 games (according to maxpreps). I have seen the rams defense a couple of games this year including McCort (D showed nothing in this game) and they are pretty good. Richlands DB's are exceptionally good, they have a few int's this season according to maxpreps. I have also watched the game of the week on tv when RHS vs BHS and the rams D held strong. Richlands corners 15 & 23 did well and 34 was in on a lot of tackles. The big hit by Rizzo at the beginning of the game was outstanding and really set the tone for the game. The rams also had a int for td early in the game by 88. Knowing that the rams can play strong together on defense like they did vs FH they should have a shot at a D6 championship game, whether they win it or not is another topic, but I wish the best of luck to the rams this season being a former player there graduating from the class of 79'. I would also like to wish central cambria good luck for the remainder of the season, my grandson plays there. If anyone ever wants to talk football email me. I just heard today that "The Hornet" has been cleared to play. I hope he can help his team with a victory this week. I believe if his rams win against the panthers the rams will get a home playoff game.

Tonight was the return of the Hornet. Not practicing all week the hornet had to wait till the 4th quarter to see playing time. His first offensive playing time in a long while showed that the Hornet is a threat on both sides of the ball. His first play he was in the Rams were in the red zone. The hornet ran a stop and go and was just barely overthrown in the endzone. The next play was a run. The third play he was in, the Hornet ran a post and Gino Ramires found him for six points.

The Rams went on to win the game with a score of 44-22. With this win the Hornet and his Rams will have the first home play off game in Richland's school history.

Lets see what the Hornet can do next week when the Rams host the Bearcats!
