Tyrone @ Central
Re: Tyrone @ Central
I'll take Central in a tight one. I think they're good enough to beat Tyrone. Tyrone is winning some games they may not be good enough on paper to win. I love that about a group of kids. I just think tonight Central gets it done.

Re: Tyrone @ Central
Was definitely a good game tonight. Tyrone came out in the second half looking much better than in the first. Although glad for a win, if Tyrone didn't have the 15 yd penalty in the end, I think the game would've been theirs. Runk should be switched up and not on QB the entire game. He could be utilized to run the ball and pick up some yards. Lucky for Central it was their night. Next few weeks coming aren't going to get any easier. They'lll need to be on their game.
But all in all.. Central finally beat Tyrone after a good many years!

Re: Tyrone @ Central
Hats off to Central. They made 2 big plays when they needed them. I really won't get into any officiating, because our senior leaders, 2 in particular didn't play or act like it, if we make half the plays we needed to, it's a way different outcome, so I'm not placing any blame. Although I would like to know how a kid can take a handoff , a yard deep in the backfield, when the ball is spotted at the 6 inch line, take 3 steps, fall forward on the tackle, have his entire body above his knees in the endzone, and not be considered in for a touchdown(unless he carried the ball in his sock).

I totally agree EagleAlum. It looked as if number 6 was 3 yards deep into the endzone but hats off to central they played a great game.

Re: Tyrone @ Central
With a big Richland win over PC, will Tyrone drop to 4 and Richland take 3rd?
Just curious if there will be a Tyrone-Central round two...?

Re: Tyrone @ Central
Round 2 in 2 weeks if Tyrone and Central both win next week, same place.

I thought he might be in but I don't have DVR to really analyze it. Regardless, hopefully these two teams can meet up in two weeks. Should be a good one again if they do.

Upon further review, the play stands as called. Tyrone will lose a time out for the losing the challenge.
