Hornets you can send all the Mirror and Hayes quotes you want. The issue I had with YoungBuck was his attack on who passes were thrown to and play calls. Other than that Bellwood handled them. By no means was Blacklick embarrassed in the game. Hey its over now Bellwood will now have to travel up to Portage and hopefully McCaullay can play the whole game because he will be needed. Portage by three scores this weekend.

i posted that because it seems as though bellwood was without a key starter for the first quarter and still put up 34 points for the game.

blacklick scored the second touchdown with NO TIME on the clock to make it look closer than it was.

i also think your confused. bellwood is the No. 2 seed and portage will be doing the travelling.

My mistake Portage is traveling but still it will be a tough ballgame for Bellwood. Blacklick fumbled deep in there own territory down 21-0 which resulted in Bellwoods fourth score. The last scores for Bellwood and Blacklick were late in the game. But believe me neither Blacklick nor Bellwood let the other score, even at that point.

I watched Blacklick and Portage and Blacklick got shut out 48-0 in Nanty Glo. It is a tough place to play on a Saturday afternoon but Portage was relentless. They have three super backs and the QB knows his role. I was equally impressed with Bellwood's backs, especially Beech. He just doesn't go down.

i think the game will be even and if i was making odds, i'd go +3 for bellwood since they have homefield advantage. As usual, i'm sure portage will be well represented with their fans also.

This one should be a barn burner.

One hopes the winner will have something left for BM the next week.

I really think Blacklick had the season everyone felt they would. Second round of the playoffs would have been my expectation.
