Yeah, the WPIAL champ does that to D5 teams a lot. GCC is pretty stinking good. Congrats to Bedford on turning it around after their early season start. The bracket may have allowed them to get where they got, but they still had to beat a pretty good Ridge squad (that beat AAAA Dubois) and Karns City to get where they got. I figured Westinghouse would probably be awful...the City League is wayyyy different than the WPIAL. Karns City was pretty good and Bedford won a classic game against them. No matter what they were one of the final 8 teams in AA playing and one of the final 32 overall. I think district 5 is happy to have their representative be the one that makes the state quarters out of 5-8-9!
