Dan Rooney, how's that Obama thing working out?

Post by El-Moldo »

...Anyone remember Dan Rooney picking up the Super Bowl trophy last year, moments after the Steelers took the Championship. He raised up the trophy and said, "I would like to thank President Obama". Remember????? WTF was THAT supposed to mean??? He didn't thank God, the players, the coaches, or the fans first. He thanked President Obama!!!!!!! Well now we have the Obama curse. Wonder how much money it's gonna cost the Steelers in revenue after falling from the elite of pro football? Who's gonna buy all those Steeler jerseys, hats, souveniers, etc? And you can't get TV revenue when the team is sitting at home after the regular season. Maybe Dan will get a taste of how the Obama economy is gonna pan out. Thanks alot, Dan.

Guess that loss last night to the Browns just cost Dan Rooney and the Steelers thousands and thousands of dollars in revenue from loss of TV appearances and merchandise sales. At season's end, maybe Rooney can hold up some EMPTY hands and thank Obama again.
