:mrgreen: WHY???? Is Westmont doing such a tremendous job this year?????

What would you consider a tremendous job?? Let me ask you this, lets say you consider Johnstown having a successful year. They currently have a record of 15-2. Richland currently has a record of 7-9. At this point today you would say Johnstown has had a successful season.

Now let’s fast forward 3 weeks from now. Let's say Johnstown losses the LHAC championship and doesn't win the D6 championship, but some how Richland wins the D6 championship. Who would you say has had a tremendous season or whose season has been more of a success.

Bottom line you can't say how tremendous or how good a team/coach season has been until the season is over.
Anyone who would make a statement like that is ignorant to the fact that wins don’t mean anything without championship to go with them.

:P Oh! I see. You're such an expert. Some of the previous posts had "THE COACH" having the gym named after him. Guess we'll have to wait until next year or next year or next................

[quote="WilsonJet"]Through the Grapevine:

Conemaugh Valley - Coach Lupek may just stay and that is solid information.

Richland - I hear it is Greg Burke, or he is being led to believe he has the job.

Central Cambria - Assistant Coach Stefan is who I hear is the stepping in. Do not forget Bishop Carroll locked Coach Aliquo in to a 10 year deal to keep him from heading up over the hill to his Red Devil roots????

Ferndale - is Wiss leaving??

Penn Cambria - has Scooter had enough??

Bishop Guilfoyle - who knows, maybe Pope Benedict or the Bishop.

Agreed,Lupek isn't handing in his whistle yet, although you would think this would be his yearto ride that retirement scooter off into the sunset.

Burke at Richland....why. Has he done such an impressive job at Windber??

CC... Will hire the assistant, as they should.

not sure about Burke, but I heard good things about it him in terms of actual coaching, skill development, and work ethic.

Yeah, actual coaching and skill development led him to three wins this year. I shouldn't reply because I did not see them play this year, but that seems like a funny statement.

With the talent the Ramblers put on the floor these days as compared to recent "glory" days, Helen Keller could get them to 4 wins. Sometimes it's -NOT- the coach's fault.
It ain't over until it's over.
