Shober and Schopp are you guys kidding. I think your forgetting one little guy. Nick not only could win 3A but pound 4 pound can beat everyone in the country.

I'm not taking anything away from Roberts, he's the best 103 pounder in the country, and he's great. But the statement was, best AA wrestler in Hershey. Facts here, Roberts is beating the tar out of freshmen. Schopp wrestled at 125 in preseason tournaments, wrestled as high as 145 during the season and is at 135 now, will probably be a 133 for Edinboro next year. Shober has done the same things. Now if Roberts hits the weights, wrestles at 125 or 130 next year when he could probably make 119...and has the same results....I'll agree.Just not right now.

I thought last years 189 bracket with Bennett, San Doval, and Fausey was one of the toughest i've ever seen. 135 this year takes the cake!!!

That is a very, very bold statement. Not taking one single thing away from Nick Roberts, because this young man pisses excellence, but there is a whole different breed of wrestling that goes on from 119 to 152. He should dominate everyone in a predominately freshman and sophomore weight, but pound for pound in the country...that's just a ridiculous statement, in my eyes.

Well that could very well be ridiculous but if it is then when was the last time he lost to someone his own weight? O and dont count last year in high school because he weighed about 93 lbs. And how do you grade someone on there genetics.

So is Derry dropping back down to AA next year? Imagine the anticipation for that one if both are at the same weight.

I don't think as a soph. at 103 we can say roberts is the best AA wrestler in the state. Like X-MAN said its a whole different ball game from 119 to 152. Nick will get there but right now I'm not willing to put him in the class with Shober. Roberts is great. Hope he becomes a 4 timer.

Schopp? So his low weight was actually 125? If that is the case I'm shcocked he stayed at 135. At 125 or 130 he would be the odds on favorite to be the champ. Not that he can't win at 135. That's pretty impressive though. A kid that has come up short twice is willing to take the tougher road to try to win a state title.
