Bedford at Ridge

Post by foghorn »

I'm inclined to believe that Ridge has a good chance of beating Bedford Tuesday night. Barefoot usually has good games against the Bisons. At any rate, Bedford needs a win. Also, I'm personally tired of hearing about what a tough league the LH is. Certainly true -- but let's see that translate into some big victories against those "SH patsies," as one Bison fan I know terms those teams. (As if Everett couldn't play in that league and hold its own this year.) Hey, I just want to see good basketball and hope all the local teams do well. But Frankly, I'm disappointed in the Bisons this year.

Anyway, it should be an exciting atmosphere in the DREADED LIONS DEN -- which, by the way, looks pretty spiffy with the new bleachers and paint job.

Anyone else have anything to say about this matchup, or are all you guys too busy arguing with NAS?

I agree FOG, could be a good one...SF win gives CR a much needed confidence boost and Bedford seems to have been figuring out ways to lose close games. The SF team CR beat is probably as good if not better than Bedford anyway.

I'm with you...the LHAC is overrated, or SHL underrated depending on how you look at it. The big diff. in the leagues is depth...there are more good teams and fewer bad teams but the Everett's, SF's, Tussey's can compete and McC-burg and FR are also capapble of playing with the mid-pack LHACKers. Seems to be Central lost at Everett by 15 and AT C.Cambria by 2....ooops, shouldn't have said that, WPIAL Titan will be on here with an explanation for that!!

Boys game should be a good one. Looking forward to the Harris/Barefoot matchup. Hopefully the stampede will be there in full force.

As for the girls game, it should be a cruise through victory for the Bisonettes.

For Ridge to have a shot at the bisons Barefoot has to play like he did against SF. He was unconscious shooting the ball! Ridge has to do a better job boxing out and rebounding on the defensive end, SF had was too many second shots.

Should be an exciting game!

I guess the stampede will be there in full force!

Last year Barefoot dropped in 48 on the Bisons and his squad still lost, so he'll have to do a lot more than just score for them to be able to win. Maybe if he can guard 4 guys and score 50 they'll have a chance.

Bedford has no supporting cast. Double Harris and they are done.
