And I'm not defending anything,
At times I thought Pitt should've lost by 30. They buckled down and made a couple plays, and took it to OT.

Pitt played awful but had plenty of dumb errors and costly mistakes that ultimately lost them the Football game,

They lost, They have got to regroup. This game has no bearing on their Big East Championship. I'm not gonna jump ship because they lost to a Top 25 team on the road by 3 in ovetime with a new QB.

Well isn't that the same team that you said Pitt would beat 31-17?

I hate to break it to you, bub. But that line is gonna be there all year. Blocking better teams than what they faced tonight. "if he would have had more holes..." Don't good running backs make mediocre lines look better?

Utah gave every one of Pitt's opponents this year a formula to beat them. Take away the run and make Sunseri beat them through the air. You better get used to a lot of that until Sunseri makes strides. I expect every one of PSU's opponents to do the same thing to them. It could be a long year for the both of us. It all depends on who adjusts and grows faster. Time will tell for both.

I dont expect the line to be as bad as they were tonight for the rest of the season. I would certainly hope this isn't the exact same Pitt team for the next 12 games. Tino will get better, those Linemen will get better.

You don't think defensive units will improve over the next 15 weeks as well. I hate to say this because I want to see Pitt get back to a perennial national power but every chance Pitt seems to get to jump to the next level of a program they slip back into irrelevancy. They've had solid recruiting classes of late, won 10 games last year, were ranked in the Top 15 in the preseason polls, and have a Heisman trophy candidate. What did they do but go out week one and lose to an unranked team. Before everyone starts saying that Penn State plays Alabama week 2 and will probably lose that one let's just remember they play in the SEC, are ranked #1, and are defending national champions. Utah still plays in a non-AQ conference, played in the Poinsettia bowl last year, and are unranked. Those are the games you have to win.

Like I said I'm not defending Pitt, they played bad.
But you guys are really trying to make Utah look bad.
They have now won 18 straight at home.
They beat that same Alabama team you guys play by 3 scores only 2 seasons ago in SEC country. They aren't stiffs by any measure, they are a really good team. Sure they aren't in a qualifying conference right now but if they were in the PAC 10 this year, I could see them as a team that could win that league. And depends what you follow, thats the 24th ranked team by some.

I'm not trying to make Utah sound bad. The point is, Pitt is really close right now to becoming to the Big East what WVU used to be (with Cincinnati losing its coach and WVU on probation). They could really help that league and be a very solid program but the problem is every time I think Pitt is really going in the right direction they run into a game like last night. A game I can compare it to is Oregon State a few years back. Pitt had a fairly solid team that year and completely **** the bed that game. Last night was bad from an outsider looking at Pitt's program. They should have lost that game by 10 points or so. Utah's coach gave them a 2nd chance and they still couldn't capitalize. I understand you have a new QB under center but its college football about every 2-3 everyone has a green QB under center. The biggest problem I see with this is that Pitt is still a good team and may win the Big East but this will hurt that entire conference.
