Central Cambria Red Devils
Re: Central Cambria Red Devils
That was real easy huh?
Bishop Carroll absolutely dominated that game
They had over 400 yards rushing compared to Central's 70 some yards of TOTAL OFFENSE
BC fumbuled inside CC's 5 twice, so minus the fumbles the score is 36-6

Re: Central Cambria Red Devils
I am not too sure what part of the first few weeks of the season prompted fans to have such strong feelings for CC in this match up tonight. I think it is just a hard truth that BC has been playing the better football coming into tonight. Tonight I saw a BC team that dominated the ground game, which is probably a very good thing for them being that their pass game looked just as shaky as CCs. I think that the Red Devils have two good backs in Wissinger and Osaben. With the lack of pass game at this point in the season, I dont think it takes a hall of fame caliber coach to draw up a wishbone like formation to get the two on the field at the same time. At least that way when teams stack the box against the run you can make it some sort of a guessing game for them. I am not about to say that it is time to panic, but I think that it might be time for a reevaluation of the offensive scheme. Defensively, I saw some athletes out there, but I am a true believer that at this level defense is mostly an attitude. We know from past years that Coach Ridegely has the schemes and with the addition of a firey assitant in Wade Klezek, I do not see why that defense cant be pretty good. BC ran the heck out of their run offense tonight, and kept CC on their heels for most of the game. If it were not for a fumble on the 1, and another on the 3, it could have been worse than what it ended up being. CC has some good athletes, but I think they need to be put in some better positions to succeed. However, football always comes down to execution, and when you cannot loosen up a defense with a pass game, it is going to be a long game against any defense. All in all, I agree that the game tonight was somewhat boring to the casual fan, but the way BC executed their game plan seemed to be impressive. BC's fake punt was a brilliant coaching call, and I think CC had plenty of opportunities tonight when BC tried to give them a chance. The execution in all phases of the game just was not there for the Red Devils. Learn and move on to next week. It was only 1 game.
Do you believe in miracles.....YES!

a couple weeks ago, bussard calls a 2point play and everyone on here jumps on him as a good coach.
the problem at cc is the coaching and it is not going to get any better soon with the young new coach coming to cc next year.

Young Buck your right, Buzzard had great players make him look good over the years. His O is easy to figure out find one good running back and ride him until he breaks down. Osaban,Persio, and the list goes on and it was looking like that this year with Wissinger. Now vs the CH's, Somersets, and other below avg teams in LH's that works but vs the betters teams and coaches well it doesn't. They don't develop qb's, you had Mckavish and Mcgregor and those were just great athletes other then those 2 they just haven't had anyone. Well I don't know about the next coach but if it doesn't change well BC will get better b/c last night was to much for a lot of people in the crowd.

Oh yeah the fake punt I think is up to the player they trust Woo takes a look if he thinks he can then run it. The second Fake punt w/ 3 minutes left and the game already over was a going away gift to Buzzard.

In most cases when running a rugby punt, the punter always has the option to run. I think Woo made the decision when the field opened up to run. Is BC's backfield the best in the LHAC? They looked it againts the Red Devils.

If you were to replay the FH BC game I think it would be diffrent. FH is a great team, but BC has found themselves. Becides BC played there worst game, and FH played a good game.

That's an easy accusation to make when you know they won't play again this year. Remember, FH hasn't given up more than 13 points this year (and half of those were against second team players). Not much would change, BC would not be able to run on FH, and FH would be scoring at will again. BC is a good team. but likely a second tier LHAC team behind FH and Jtown. I'll give you this, BC is the best single A LHAC team and top 2 D6A
Re: Central Cambria Red Devils
Just curious, who is the best single A team in District 6A
and if you are going to tell me Bellwood, tell me who you saw them play this year and what was so impressive.
