What is Joe's record in the B10 against ranked teams? Or even overall?

Re: Titan
Here's what I came up with...
PSU's record in B10 since joining in 1993...86W-51L, with three B10 Titles in 17 seasons...95, 05, and 08
He is 2-8 against Iowa teams coached by Kirk Ferentz..
He is 0-4 vs. Bama in games coached by Bear Bryant.
SInce joining the B10, Paterno's records against the following B10 teams:
5-9 Iowa
5-10 Michigam
6-11 tOSU
16-30 vs. the top tier B10 teams
This means he is 70-21 agaisnt the rest of the B10. he has never lost to Indiana (13-0) and is 11-2 vs. Illini, 13-4 against MSU, 10-3 vs. NW, and 10-2 vs. Purdue.
Can't find any info on Joe's record vs. ranked teams.
I know that he has a pretty solid record in bowl games.

Re: Titan
Indeed, one outright championship for Joe, in 1995.
Unbelievable, isn't it? All that talent at Penn State and ONE OUTRIGHT B10 CHAMPIONSHIP in 17 years.

Records versus ranked teams since Paterno took over:
37-38-0 since joining the Big Ten
46-40-1 as independent
83-78-1 overall

Re: Titan
Interesting, not as bad a record as I would've thought.

I am not defending Joe at all and believe he needs to go as much as anyone else, but in '05 and '08 those were both shared with OSU, who Penn State beat in the regular season; it's not like they didn't play. Those were shared because the Big Ten is retarded and doesn't hand out an outright championship even if the two teams played in the regular season.

Re: Titan
I can't stomach seeing some of the Joepa Defenders on Penn State's site. It's unreal how people sit there and say Joe has earned the right to retire when he wants.....Really? Since when does life work like that? You mean to tell me if Joe is 93 and has alzheimer's he should still be coach(actually I think he has it already)
I have seen people type out long, well thought out posts as to why Joe should step down and these people don't want to hear it. They root for Joe Paterno University not Penn State University in my opinion. I
There is no accountability with this team anymore. It's always someone elses fault. Yesterday Paterno said no one was to blame on the team that a timeout wasnt called in time last week before the half ended. It was the "REFS" fault. Like TAE has said it's always a Young Team. It's always "There a heck of a football team we are playing"
It's been this way for years yet there is a certain allegiance of fans that think he has earned the right to do what he wants. At what point is enough enough?
