Mistake ! Mistake !

Warwick plays Penn Manor Comets not Penns (with a s) Manor Comets of the Heritage Conference.

It looks like Penns Manor is idle this week. If not, please post.

United 12
Ligonier Valley 35
This game will be close for a while as United's theme all year has been to play to the level of the oppent

Saltsburg 12
Marion Center 21

Purchase Line 7
Blairsville 35
Blairsville and Abby work out some frustrations

Nothern Cambria 15
Homer-Center 20
This or the McCort/Carrol game is where I'll be this week if I don't have to work

Penns Manor idle
After checking Maxpreps, Westernpafootball and the Indiana Gazette it looks like PM is the only school not to find a LV replacement game

the score would have been a lot worse than 21-20 warwick over penns manor IF they were playing...

its got to be disappointing for the penns manor faithful that they did not find a tough team to play, let alone any team, even if that team happened to be out of state.

the goal should be to win the district and this would have been a prime opportunity for them to get a good matchup.

Playing up can really help heritage schools that only see 1 AA and all A teams but the other side to playing up or even out of your class in week eight is what if you get player hurt that need 2-4 weeks to heal. If there is any week in the schedule I would comfortable with a bye it would be week 7 or 8. Heritage schools should be commended on the fine job they did finding replacement games with short notice. When Turkeyfoot droped football in April a few years back d-5 gave everone forfiet wins that didn't find replace games. Very few schools found replacement games and the ripple effect was even felt in d-6 A.

D5 didn't give forfeit wins for turkeyfoot. Most teams that didn't pick up a replacement only had an 8 game schedule.
