I wouldn't say dark horse. being #5, its hard to be a darkhorse. Many believe this Pitt team to be the deepest ever. They are loaded and have athletes everywhere. Start some experienced player. Im feeling good about this season

eerrrrr wait you were talking about basketball weren't you?

Not surprised at last night's performance here. Typical Pitt. I think I just saw UCONN'S running back run by my window. Wherever he is, I'm sure he's still running today. Downhill. I couldn't have been more happy with the kickoff coverage too. As a matter of fact, special teams were awesome, particularly Hutchins, Graham, and Cam "I talk a good game but have no clue how to return a punt" Saddler. My favorite part of the game was the stellar play by the talent(less) DL and LB. Max Gruder is faster than John Candy, but a bit slower than Fat Albert. Ditto for Williams. Nothing like allowing the only player on the team who can beat you do just that.

I look for Pitt to bounce back and beat USF, then split with WVU and Cincy so that we can all be tortured by watching Pitt go to the Galleria Mall/Auntie Ann's Cinnamon and Sugar Pretzel Bowl, to be held on January 5, 2011 at 8PM in Orono, Maine. I expect Pitt to be matched up again a mighty Northern Illinois team. I predict a 13-9 Northern Illini win....or maybe we'll lose 3-0...

Seriously Funk Dave; it's worse than a pattern. HE IS A HORRIBLE GAME COACH,,,,and isn't that what a coach is being paid for?

I would like to say though, that dave isn't fumbling the ball, throwing interceptions, and committing penalties.
