Dave Frederick wrestling 285 for Bedford was a nice story. Kid missed last year and early this year, and got 4th in the Thomas. Strong as a bull, even tempered, and just seems happy to be able to get on the mat. In the interest of full disclosure, I know him and think he's a great kid.

i agree. I have been really impressed with David. I would love to see what he could have done not missing so much time with injuries.

Hixson did a pretty good job in the Thomas i was very impressed with him when he had to meet Rizzo he did a decent job.. I can see him making his way to States.

With less time at the job this week I took some time to do some math...
Somerset's 6 weights that did not place scored some big time points...wt followed by pts earned in ()
103 (10) 3 falls, 112 (10) 3 falls, 119 (4), 125 (6), 130 (0), 189 (4)...that's 34 points from 6 people as opposed to..
CK 23 points from their lowest 7...and NB 12 points from 3 no entries and 4 others.
could look at some details among the team's placewinners but this tells a little how the tourney was won.
