Jacoby is good.Problem is,he hasn't wrestled at 103 yet. He's still at 112,if you want to be at a weight for districts, you must wrestle at least 50% of your matches at that weight.Jacoby better make 103 soon or he'll be at 112 for districts.

1st of all ,,Jacoby could have weighed in at 103 an has just been wrestling 112,,,,,2nd of all Doug Ritchey is the guy to beat at 103..all he has to do is wrestle Albright on his feet...Don't get me wrong ,I think Albright is a very good freshman and 103 is not real tough,,so he should do well,,,he should be a state qualifier

I'll eat a little crow here. Not because of what Tyrone did;because C-K and the kids from Mount Union were ready to wrestle and performed well.Tyrone's kids, for the most part didn't handle the layoff as well as I think they could have.
Ritchey is a very good wrestler and deserved to win.I believe Albright will better his finish later. He is normally real good on his feet and Ritchey took him down a couple times. That's a hats off to Ritchey.TJ is almost unstopable when he's aggressive,he looked tentative all day.Ask the #1 103 pounder in PA in AAA.TJ went after him and was 1/2 second away from pinning him while winning 13-6 a couple weeks ago.Don't bet the farm on 1 tourney. They'll be better for knowing what they have to work on now rather than in Feb.
As for Mount Union,we got them this Thursday at home, the kids got 5 days to brew about Saturday and go start to rectify things a bit.
There were some good performances,Westley and Tate were impressive.Tate won 5 matches in under 6 minutes.Westley tech falled a reg. qualifier rather quickly in the finals.
The McCloskey boys wrestled pretty well.Dane nearly beat McIntyre (5-4),and Sam nearly beat the #3 kid at hershey last year in ot.Overall, they should be glad it's early JAN and not late Feb.
Kudos to Claysburg and Mount Union, they looked tough.
