S Cube...

Do you think the seedings were legit at those upset weight classes? Did someone get caught?

That seems like some huge wins for lower-seeded kids or is there that much parity at those weight classes....not much difference in talent/ability.

How is lil bro feeling?

Unbelievable what's going on in Windber. North Star 6 seed Shawley over 3 Bollman at 152.

Life hunts, those seeds were legit, North Star came to wrestle tonight. Joel is feeling good, we'll see how he looks on the mat in a little bit...

Some thoughts-

These aren't your normal 7th and 8th seeded D-5 kids. These kids from NS are solid. At the same time some of the kids seeded in the top 3 aren't as dominate as you sometimes see. There is def. more parity this year.

I've seen some VERY questionable refing!! 2 refs in paticular.

Day from Meyersdale looked extremely small for 125.

Some teams and kids have very inflated records.

Looks like a 4 team race. NS, BEd, NBC and Som. NS, as Cube said has wrestled great.

As we near the midnight hour, wrestling is still going on in Windber. There is no way on earth the people running this tournament should have let this be an issue. Weigh ins are 8 hours away. Northern Bedford has an hour drive home, meaning they won't be home until after 1AM, then they have to turn around and leave again at 7AM. Not fair at all to the kids of D5...
