Johnstown and "Racial Profiling?!"

Post by SRV »

It was brought to my attention this weekend that an establishment in Johnstown has issued a "dress code" that all patrons must abide by or else they are "escorted" from the establishment. I will not mention the name of this establishment because this was told to me by a friend... but I was rather surprised and have a good idea why the "dress code" was created but am too afraid to say so...

Anyway... the code is

(1) No hats are allowed. Patrons must remove hats before entering establishment or carry them when entering establishment.

(2) No plain (white) T-shirts.

(3) No baggy bags. Baggage is up to interpretation of establishment staff.

-Those are the three "codes" that were mentioned to me. (Of course they are in my own language)

This establishment is geared toward a younger 21-35 crowd...

My friend plays in a band and wore a hat... one of the staff members told him he could wear it for the show but informed him of the "dress code." That is my source.

Any thoughts on this?
