I think a few people in Johnstown have a diploma that says University of Pittsburgh, and a few more that work for that University, and a few more that follow the team closely. Hell 75% of Penn State fans like Pitt Basketball in Johnstown.

This whole crying over your team not getting enough attention would make a whole lot more sense to me if it were 1986, you had rabbit ears on your TV, and people only had the channels 6, 8, and 10

If anyone should be upset that channel 6 doesn't have more Pitt coverage it should be Farmer Hall. WJAC TV and the Broad Top Bulletin are his only media outlets. Where is farmer hall?

So people in the greater Johnstown area want to hear MORE about PSU women's basketball than Pitt men's basketball?

Who cares what order they show it in? IMO they should show a lot more high school sports instead of college and professional because you can find that stuff easily on ESPN. Most of the people I know watch the local sports to see high school highlights.

If I want to know how Pitt basketball did, I watch ESPN. If I want to know how a local team did, I'll watch a local newscast. A lot of the people watching have a personal connection to the local teams and individuals, while a lot less have that same connection to Pitt or PSU athletes. That's why they put everything else ahead of the collegiate news. PSU would have been put at the same place in the order of the telecast
