I guess not, Link got him again, but it was close and roberts did place 2nd and will learn from the loss! He is tough to beat though! Definitely one of the tops around the state of pa.

Roberts could not even score a take down! Not sure what match you watched? Link dominated him in the first, and at one point in the match he almost pinned roberts! Link also had a 3 pt lead in the match...Roberts is solid, but he wont win another state championship...Nor does penn state need him! They have the kid from franklin regional, plus jimmy is way a head of roberts.....

The match ended 4-3 with link stalling and roberts almost beating him at the end. I don't know what match you watched??? Link won fair and square, but it was a good match. Just because you don't take someone down, doesn't mean you aren't a good wrestler. Roberts got 2 escapes and a stalling point, which tells me link was holding on for dear life at the end not shooting, while roberts was. Don't make it look like a total dominant match for link, because it wasn't! Gullibon is way better than nick, but he is nicks practice partner also, making roberts better. Gullibon can go d-1 right now and wrestle, while roberts and link will have to redshirt. Roberts wins in different countries and different wrestling style tourneys all over, so he isn't a slouch!

anybody who has ever watched roberts, knows he wasn't @ 100%. Can anybody confirm if he was sick last weekend.
Link beat him fair and square, but that was Links best effort. I'm sure if wasn't Roberts

i dont recall any stalling points an was roberts sick both times this year

Roberts escaped twice for 2 points and got a stalling point for his 3, unless it was an illegal hold called on link! I never heard that he was sick or hurt. He had shingles about a month ago before the playoffs, but came back and wrestled the last match against shade and in the playoffs, so no excuses please, link won fair and square!

Saw the match. Incredible. No favorite here either way. Just a medical comment: If an athlete in any sport isn't 100 %, anything can happen. Shingles is -NOT- like the flu or a head cold. It saps your strength, you feel like you got hit by a bus, and its effects can linger for months. I know. It's rare for someone in their teens to get it, but it's possible.

At this point of the season all wrestlers are beat up, sick and etc...Link beat Roberts at super 32 this year before the season started..."So what is that excuse?" Then link wins again at regionals same year! No more excuses... I hope they meet at for state Championship... Then It will be an officals fault, when Link wins it... 8)
