The first off the mat rankings are out now too.Since it's a paid service and out of respect for Mr Elling.I'm not gonna post the rankings. But to wet your thirst(maybe get a few new subscribers) Here's a local partial listing at 3 weights
103; Ritchey #5 Albright #6 Ripple #19
135; Westley #1 Sal Lascari #4
275;Tate #1 Anderson #8
I do put more stock into anything coming from Tom Elling or Rich Vetock,or MR Dugan. They travel, see everyone, and wait to see who beat who,and who isn't even wrestling. If you notice,at HWT.Neese and Smith(Brockway) are ranked in other services.Neither is even on their teams roster.Smith is a football recruit for Notre Dame, and Neese blew out a tire.
I encourage you if you're not already a premium member,to check out Ellings PAWrestling,or Vetock's PaFootballnews. They work in coordination with each other on both and do a fantasic job.

Yeah...ranking are great! They make you feel all warm and gooey inside! I wouldn't throw a hissy (not that anyone is) over someone being ranked higher or lower than I thought they should be, 'cause noone knows where everyone is gonna end up. But I am a prime example of ranking don't mean crap.

I am an off the mat subscriber and I know both of the men that do the rankings personally. These men go to every big tournament and purposefully do not send out state rankings till after the first of the year so they are afforded the chance to see as many wrestlers as possible and get and accurate view has to where each should be ranked. Seeing westley has not being a number #1 wrestler could be stretching it. he has one loss this year and that was to a AAA state runnerup from last year and he only lost 8-6. He also killed Sal Lascari 13-2 in a very dominating performance. The possiblity for these rankings to change is inevitable but as for now Westley deserves that ranking for the unbelievable amount of dedication he has for his wrestling and for how he has wrestled so far this season

I think he is;but you know how that goes.My personal opinion is that as good at wrestling as he is,he may be a better football player. But his passion is on the mat.If he gets a good offer next year for wrestling,he could go that way.
