Just watched the videos from the flowrestling website. Couple observations. McIntosh is a beast! Woulda liked to see him wrestle Kenny Courts, but he was dominant. Some folks were calling the NJ kid "Quitalattano", don't know if that's fair, he looked to take an elbow late in the 1st and wasn't the same after that. Although it did look like some of that may have been Lakitsky puttin' the puddy to him. Shaffer was a replacement and beat the #1 guy at that weight and a top 3 recruit(guess those stars don't always matterhuh?) and looked dominant doing it. PA knocked off 3 national #1's in the 1st 4 weights.and at 140, former United wrestler, Evan Henderson knocked off Cam Tessari . Woulda loved to be there.

This from today's USA TODAY: A week after coaching Penn State to the NCAA team title and about 7 years after winning Olympic gold, CAEL SANDERSON put his wrestling shoes back on and competed just for fun. At age 31, Sanderson won all 3 of his matches without giving up a point and won the 211 # class title at the USA Wrestling Northeast Senior Freestyle Regionals in Brockport, NY. In 2004, Sanderson won Olympic freestyle gold in the 184.8 lb. class. In his final match Saturday, Sanderson defeated Jack Jensen 6-0, 6-0 in a best-of-three periods match.Jensen finished 7th at the 2008 NCAA tournament. The Brockport tournament was a regional qualifier for USA Wrestling's World Team Trials, scheduled in Oklahoma City in June. As a past world team and Olympic team member, Sanderson has already qualified.
