Well congrats on the board making the right decision. Size wise that is where Ligonier belongs. Not beating up on teams half thier size and then not being able to compete come playoff time. Now we will see how good of a coach Bietel is, when he can't just line up and run the ball on everyone.

If that's the way it goes this is terrific news for Chestnut Ridge who has been seeking an all-sports conference and a partner and bad news for those traditionalists like myself as I am guessing the Sideling Hill League would vanish.

The next question is: Will the Heritage Conference be looking for a new member or two?

Rumor has it that the conference change will be dropped at the board meeting tonight so it looks like Liggy will be in the Heritage at least one more year. This topic needs to be a open discussion if performed at all but the Ad , Admin and school board are not for giving any input to the people who only elect and pay them.

Why are they making this such a drama. Jump in or not. This has to be rubbing both LHAC and District 7

If it is true that the change of conference will be dropped it makes one wonder if the result of the Richland game came into play with that decision.

What??? Something poorly handled by the Liggy School Board. I'm sure that all the LHAC supporters will say that the lost to Richland had alot to do with this, which may be true but DO NOT underestimate that CR would also apply so Liggy couldn't make a clean run to WPIAL may have also come into play. There are still many people that would love to see them move that direction although they would still travel just as much if not more which has been proven.

I hope somebody from the LHAC sends them a letter stating an application to the conference won't be considered in the near future. If i'm in the LHAC i'd be upset. Ligonier is going to continue to make the playoffs and keep out a school in the LHAC that deserves it.

"I hope somebody from the LHAC sends them a letter stating an application to the conference won't be considered in the near future."
Did Ligonier officially apply? If they did or didn't, LV manuvered according to guidelines to do the best they could for their athletes. How to treat this areas athletes should be this conference's concern, not "you made a mistake so your kids now have to suffer." Everyone needs to keep in mind that mistakes are an every day part of life. Why is it so common for people to hold such frivolous childish grudges around here?
