I talked to a friend of my uncle's brother in law who's on the PSU BOT who spoke with God today. I heard that God was considering reincarnating Bear Bryant or Vince Lombardi to save PSU football. The BOT offered Lombardi first after both Brandon and Don Bailey turned PSU down following a secret meeting at The Ranger last evening. The Bear is PSU's fall back candidate.

It all makes sense now. After all, God is a Penn State fan because he made the sky blue and white, right?

The last two posts are awesome. Titan, that was one of your best posts. I laughed at that one. Then my man Herbie answers Titans question and again I start laughing and my wife looks at me like I'm crazy.

3 pipe dream names- Miles, Saban, and Gruden... O'Brien is interviewing for NFL head coaching jobs so people must think highly of him. The PSU message boards are all very anti-O'Brien.

Also, I will say this. If Penn State does "strike out" and get a Greg Roman, Tom Clements, or Bill O'Brien the program will be much better off than it has been in the past ten years.
That is such an excellent point. I'm not a fan of those 3 being the new HC, but that is a very, very good point.

Listen, fellas, we have a guy on our HS staff that retired from coaching in the NFL. He is 75 years old, he and I have a great relationship, he is like a mentor in some ways. He told me 2 weeks ago that it is the guys who are in The Network that get all the jobs, it has little to do w/ football knowledge when it is all said and done. That's a great point, and whaere I am going w/ it, is that these NFL guys are Network guys. They know how to network with eachother, that's how they have gotten to where they are. Sure, they are very smart football guys. But if YOU got a HC job, would you select your friend "Steve" as the D-Line coach, or some guy you never met who no one else on your staff has worked with? It is ALL about networking. Clements, O'Brien, Roman, those guys know everybody, and will get a high quality staff. I just wish we would have landed a bigger name, if one of those 3 do indeed get hired.

You are so wrong. I just hate pedophiles, and those that enable them. I also hate hypocrisy and corruption, while possessing a dislike toward brainwashed masses. I have only been active lately because there has been a plethora of all of the above the last two months.

Wondering if Dave Joyner, the latest in the line of PSU AD's/Liars, will come out with a statement similar to 4-days ago...."Don't believe what you read in the newspapers" this time???

How does he explain his comments from last weekend at the ticketcity Bowl regarding O'Brien when a less than a week later, he hires him!!??!! Unbelievable.

sad, sad day. Penn State is no longer a major college football program. Will they be like bama and rebound? Is O'Brien our Mike Shula? or is O'Brien another Charlie Weiss and we become as irrelevant as Notre Dame?

I think this statement from Brandon Short is a bunch of garbage. Who the heck did he want hired?

Former Penn State All-American linebacker Brandon Short told ESPN.com senior writer Don Van Natta Jr. that members of the influential Lettermen's Club have a meeting scheduled with Joyner for Friday at 1 p.m. ET.

"It's unfortunate that coach O'Brien ... has not been made aware of the implications of him being in this position," said Short, an investment banker. "I don't envy him at all. He doesn't have support of the vast majority of former Penn State players and the vast majority of the student body and the faculty won't support him. I feel sorry for him."
