Richland Duals

Alot of these d-5 schools aren't that big and have basketball that takes away from the smaller schools. I thought somerset, ridge, berlin, and township had strong lineups this year and are really competitive in any match against any d-6 school! Good luck in districts! Alot of the bigger schools weren't as good as these schools from what I saw! I can't see how anyone can knock d-5 this year!

What hype does it get....the only hype it may get comes from the amount of teams in it....

I agree, the hype is only that it has the most teams in it than any other tourney. Noone acts like it is regionals or anything! Although alot of wrestlers there will be at regionals.

i never said district 5 has no good teams or wrestlers? explain to me at any point in my post did i say that?

And the "hype" i am talking about is the number of teams. people automatically assume just because there is a lot of teams its a quality tournament.

Most of you guys are taking my posts out of context. i enjoy high quality wrestling and i know high quality wrestling when i see it. ive been around this sport and comteted at a high level so know a good bit. I just think these dual tournaments are over hyped based on quantity of teams not quality.

I dont really want to respond to this, but Im bored so Im going too. Ive been around the sport and wrestled at a high level too. I also enjoy a high level of competition. That being said, your on the D5/6 forum, talking about D5/6 wrestling, regarding a dual team tournament made up of D5/6 kids. Your comments about Forest Hills 160 were ridiculous, that kids legit and honestly I just dont understand the need to post on this site how non-competitive you feel the richland duals are, seems like you just wanted to get people going, which I guess you did so haha so mission accomplished. I thought there were some really good bouts with some really good teams. I am excited to see some of the same kids at Bedford, Districts and so on.

I know how to take it ...defend all of the D-5 and D-6 talented wrestlers and teams. Even the teams that didn't do well at Richland that in no way says says they do not have very talented wrestlers on their teams ...before you group these teams into a group of "crappy wrestlers and crappy teams" You should learn a bit more about these teams and the wrestlers your insulting ....if you do not like D-5 or D-6 teams I suggest you stop reading and commenting about them and their wrestling in other words move on to other wrestling teams you can like ...
