Eagles over the Pack

Post by 11th man »

What happened? 4th and 26 and you give up the first down, that's insane, not to mention Favre's interception. Sadly, the Packer's near dream season is over, what a terrible way to lose.

I agree, take the sack and give ur team at least another chance. By throwing the ball up to anybody is just asking for your season to end.

But even before the overtime the Pack still had a chance to stop the Eagles. The Eagles had first and ten from around the 20, tackled for a 3 yard loss, then on second down they had a chance to take down DUCE in the backfield and about 42 of the packers missed tackles, resulting in a big gain and ultimately the game tie-er.

Favre's interception was a little more complicated than just a bad throw. Still his fault, though. But Sherman's gutlessness in not going for it on 4th was pitiful, especially after he was so high and mighty last week about having to take risks. He and Martz screwed their teams big time.

the eagles only downfall is also what carries them....mcnabb...he plays 99% of the game perfectly, but that 1% when he screws up is usually what costs them the win...if he can play a full game 100% then the eagles should most definetly win the Bowl
