No, if Don could get his PLAYERS down south like Salem did (Windber, Boswell, Ligonier, Somerset, etc), THAT might have given him a better record. Coaches can come from anywhere, players are confined to a certain area. That is, unless you're a private school. Now THAT'S where Salem got his advantage.

The term “Catholic High School” was an intentional attempt to maintain a connection with the church following the schools going “independent” (myth, btw) four years ago. The Diocese didn’t want the schools to seem secular. The Diocese said the entire idea was a way to encourage local support and financial viability of the schools, but a member of the Diocese’s committee that developed the plan told me in 2009 that they also saw it as a way to put some distance between the Church and schools full of children in the midst of ongoing global-church scandals. Ultimately, it's a marketing angle.

It's like I text someone ( I don't btw) "I just ate a Hershey chocolate bar". If I am eating a Hershey bar, they already know it's chocolate. However, If I say I just ate a chocolate bar, they may want to know what kind. If you go to BM and are, say, outside this area, and someone asks you where are you from(go to school is implied) and you say, Johnstown. (Someone from the Sidman area can answer to this same question, if it's out of state, because no one knows where Sidman is, right? However, they MAY have a geographical knowledge of where Johnstown is. If you answer the question where you're from, with Bishop McCort Catholic High School, the person may think, "So what". That doesn't help me with any new information as to where you're from, but if you were to answer that question with Johnstown Catholic High School, it takes on a lot more meaning to a stranger. BM Catholic just sounds redundant. Could there possibly be something different, like BM Hindu HS? BM Mormon HS? BM Hebrew HS? It makes one think maybe there is. Thats all I'm trying to say.
It ain't over until it's over.

Honestly some of you need to do some growing up. First of all name 4 kids mccort recruited for football. Just because McCort is constantly competative doesnt mean they recruit and everytime a school gets good or is consistantley good people who have nothing better to do or just look for excuses as to why a certain school is better then theirs they start bashing on mccort. And the topic was how do u think they will do next year and who their key players will be. it wasnt asking for people to make excuses as to why mccort is so good beside the simple fact that they have great coaches (all from this area) and kids who care and want to be better. so if u cant just be mature then dont bother posting because no one cares.
