SW regionals/WPIAL quick notes
The SW regionals are always a fun time of the year. This year will be no different with some good wrestling to come this weekend. My predictions will be out sometime in the near future, does anyone else have any predictions or notes that we could get started on here about the region. Would love to hear, I'm sure as many others would as well.
Wpials..
Suprise win by Dewitt at 106. I never expected him in the finals. Looks good at 106
Nolf dominant. Suprise carr was pinned by swarrow. Didnt look him self in that match. Will have to step in up in a very tough 113 bracket.
Reckner looked solid. Beltz was a shocker in the finals after beating miller.
Guillibon is Guillibon.. 4 time WPIAL champ enough said. Zanetta was around but never had a shot.
Kwasney and Edwards was a more exciting match than most would of thought (atleast me anyway) Kwasney get up and hangs on to get that win
Gavazzi... Tough young kid.. Looks like Kusich gets hurt at some point.. backs out of regionals? Pershina gets the nod and will get to wrestle atleast another weekend.
Bonzo and sutton nothing new here. Funks work again for sutton and gets the win by a hair over bonzo. Fetchet looses first match after being up, storms back to finish 3rd.
JJ walker does it again the freshman from SF out wrestles the competitors again. Tough young kid right here. Best from Burrell looked pretty good as well, didnt expect that from him either
Mizia looked like a beast. Didnt expect the quick pin, or even a pin at all but boy he came to wrestle. Look for it to be closer next time.
Conti with the first takedown proved to be huge in the tight match with vulcano in the finals. Although Vulcano got there on quite a questionable call, should of actaully been croyle. Conti gets a close call as well in beattie from burrel getting a takedown late to win the match. Look for this to be a competitive bracket at regions.
Delauries unstopable in my eyes.
Kitta looked good against gray
Kumer loooked like a tiger. Knew this kid had it, i'm not sure where he has been hiding it the past 4 yrs. Quick pin over long in finals
Garry and Gradelis once again, for the i think 3-4th time this year. Garry prevails again in rideout

Two Times in two weeks beltz pulls shockers pinning robb in the sectional and then beating miller last week in the semifinials
I would like to see grandelis vs Garry again or see Hixson or Garry But it will most likley be Garry Vs Hixson

Buttry gave Grandellis all he wanted. I can't believe Hayman lost to McCloud, I thought he would have an easy ride into the semis.
