Here is a nice article in todays Altoona Mirror regarding a few Johnstown players. Maybe before we put down ANY kid for a hs game we will think about this article and how there are FAR MORE IMPORTANT things going on in kids' lives.

Very good article and very respectable of coach glennan (sp) to step up to the plate and take in a homeless kid. But would he have done this if he wasn't a bball player who wouldn't have helped his son's team?

That is a fair question but it is really hard to tell what is in someone's heart. That being said Westmont is lucky if they win 10 games if that kid doesnt go there. It would have been interesting to see if Johnstown could have advanced a bit further with him.
