Let's get to know Damion Terry!
Erie Prep is one of the best football schools in Pennsylvania. What is it like to play for such a great program?
It is a great honor to play for a football program that has as much storied tradition with all the great athletes that have attended Cathedral Prep and to have a great coach in Mike Mischler. I am happy I chose to attend Cathedral Prep my freshman year. I wouldn't want to play for any other high school or any other coach.
Give a shout out to your student section...maybe the the best anywhere.
Our student section is the best in the state all the students attend all of the games and cheer us on and they are very supportive at all the games we play in and I couldn't ask for any better fans to play in front of every week.
What college/pro team has the best uniforms in football?
Michigan State pro combat uniforms are the best in college football, and for the pros the Buffalo Bills have the best unis in my opinion.
Who was the first big time school you ever got a letter from in the mail and what was that moment like?
My first ever letter I got from a school for football was Wisconsin and the moment was unbelievable and I was so excited. I kept reading it over and over and it finally hit me that I have a really good chance to play college football.
What is it about Michigan State that made you want to be a part of their program?
Everything about Michigan State... I just fell in love with the overall atmosphere at the campus. I really like all of the coaches a lot and have a good relationship with them. I also feel really close to the other players that are committed in my class. Add to that the academics at Michigan State are top notch. The first time I stepped foot on campus I fell in love with the place.
Who was your favorite Erie Prep player to watch as you were growing up?
My favorite Erie Prep players to watch were Akeem Satterfield and Shyquawn Pullium when I was growing up because they were both very exciting athletes and very fun to watch play.
District 10 Fantasy Football...you have the first pick, who are you taking?
District 10 fantasy football...hmmm... I will either choose myself because I play quarterback and quarterbacks usually get a lot of points in fantasy football, or i would take my teammate Delton Williams because he always finds a way to get the ball in his hands and he is a very dynamic player who always finds a way to score.
What road trip is your favorite to make?
East Lansing
What game are you most looking forward to in 2012?
Erie McDowell!
Someone spends the day in Erie, what is the one thing they have to do?
They have to attend a Cathedral Prep football game to see all the excitement and the crazy and supportive fans we have because there is nothing like it!
What coach/teacher has had the biggest impact on you as a person? Why?
Coach Misch has the biggest impact on me because he worked his butt off since my freshman year. Whether it was staying on me and making sure my grades are right or anything thing a coach is supposed to do; he did that and he put me in a lucky position where I was able to pick where I wanted to go to college for free.
