I would think he could play football for the Bison. Maybe he chose to play soccer for HFH instead?

Oh wow. Wonder why he isn't out for football then? I just assumed that since he wasn't out for football that he went back to Hyndman. Interesting.

I see where Crimson was wondering about FH public having only "30 some kids" playing football this year. According to Our Town newspaper, Bishop McCort Catholic has only 28 kids on THEIR roster. Maybe it's a sign of the times. From what I understand, PC had only NINE 9th graders sign up for football this year. So, they were all moved up to varsity and end up playing JV on Mondays. The junior high team will have no 9th graders.

El-Moldo, I was told by a Forest Hill's parent that the numbers were down on the team because players didn't like the coaches at the jr. High level. So, they weren't playing. Any truth to that? I know at Richland jr. High teams are smaller. But, like all schools in the area class sizes are much smaller.

ramfan: Mr. Carpenter has been the jr high football coach at FH for 20 years. Why all of the sudden do 9th graders say they don't like the coach(es)? Is he too tough? Does he yell at the kids? Heaven forbid. Maybe they all can go out for the golf team. Nobody yells at a golf match, they just whisper.
