Home Runs That Help Benefit

Jextin Pugh (Bishop Guilfoyle) is hosting a benefit to help two local boys who have Type 1 diabetes. The event will be held Oct. 20th from 6pm-11pm at the Altoona Railroaders Museum. Tickets will be $10 you can purchase them at the Altoona Railroaders Musuem starting next week or at the door. Pellegrines will be selling pizza, wings, meatball subs and The Pit Stop will be selling subs. Beer will also be sold (21 and up) with wristband. Speakers such as former MLB Pitcher Mike Holtz, The Miami Diabetes Research Institute representatives, and parents who have children with Type 1 diabetes. There will also be t-shirts for sale at the event. Two great bands Rain Must Fall and Without Zerb will also being playing. All the money will go to the families to help with medical expenses.

These two boys will be Jextin's partners at the Power Showcase National Home Run Derby in December.

I wanted to reach out to the baseball community to let everyone know about the event! Its going to be a great night I hope you all can make it!

Greg Williams from the Prep Baseball Report will give free admission to a winter showcase to one baseball player who purchases a ticket and attends Jextin Pugh's benefit. The baseball players can register at the benefit by the t-shirt table. The winner will be announced during the evening.
