NS vs. CT
Boy, this backyard rivalry has lost some of its luster. Used to be the match of the year for both teams. Many memorable matches throughout the years. CT will win only one match tonight - Horner. Hope CT can become competitive again, but by judging by the size of their jr. high team, it doesn't look like it will happen anytime soon.

well i have a feeling the luster will be back, in 2 years we'll have as many seniors as north star has this year, and the junior high match between CT and NS, from what i heard we won matches wise, but lost due to forfeits, so i bet in 2 years this will once again be a match to watch
Wrestlers" The best kind of people in the world. The cockiest, dirtiest, most irresponisble group of athletes in the universe. Will get with any broad and come back and tell all his buddies about it. Will booze at least 2 times a week and pretend they are still dedicated. Not afraid to live the dream untill they are 35 then realize they never made it anywhere. Ladies Love us. Guys want to be us. We are the soul of the universe.

1. Yes, we have a young team. We know that. Many of our guys do not have a lot of "mat time" experience, or they have just returned to the mat after years away from it. Hooray to them returning to the sport!
2. I have watched these guys, each independently, start making the slow move from getting pinned constantly, to losing by points instead, to scoring some points now and then.........and I've even seen some barnburner wins from them, too. It's renewing my love for the sport watching them develop.
3. They keep coming back!!!!! No matter how much our heavyweight or other new guys get beat - they're back at practice, back at the next match, back on the mat! I love that! It's harder for them to approach the mat each night and I dig their courage!
The wrestlers that we're curious about and track on this board had to start somewhere too. They just spent their "awkward time" during elementary school or junior high when no one was watching. I can't wait for the next two years with these guys!
