The problem with the PSU scandal, are the people that try to make it a Pitt-PSU issue. It is far from it. Being a fan of a different college doesn't mean anything. Its a non sports issue, its a life issue I'm a Pitt fan,yes..but that doesn't cloud my judgment on a moral issue. I'm also a normal thinking logical person that knows what happened to Penn State really wasn't that bad in the scheme of things. Oh, boo hoo they can't go to a bowl game for 3 more years. Most of their "fans" don't give a **** anyway. And maybe that is the problem at hand. And maybe that is where most people have the issue. Nobody gives a dang about what happened, they only care that they can't go to a bowl game. Its a sad world we live in. But sports matter more to some people than being a good person. PSU leaders compromised that fact. The whole community has to "suffer" through for a few years.

So to debunk your little "theory" real Pitt people root for their team. People that understand that what happened at Penn State was/is more serious than the football team being put on probation for a few years. Beating a dead horse doesn't help, and some Pitt fans are pretty weird to be perfectly honest. I wouldn't categorize myself with the vast majority of "Pitt fans" and I'm sure there are plenty of PSU fans that don't fit the stereotype as well....and those are usually the people I'm civil with about the rivalry. But don't say what happened to Penn State was wrong, its an insult to everyone's intelligence. What happened at Penn State was wrong, what happened to Penn State was perfectly fine. Clearly more people believe that to be true other than Pitt fans. NCAA presidents voted on this. Outside parties fully agree with what happened. Penn State playing the victim card is what gets people all worked up. The NCAA shirts calling them communists. Get real. This whole law suit is a freaking joke. Corbett is no better than Paterno and the three stooges. Its not going away, and its unfortunate for some. But its the reality of it all, too. Accept, understand, and move on. Penn State got off easy in the whole scheme of things.

There is my little rant.
