Cantafio!!! Get a grip.....there is no way Jim would want to come to Central....If he moves on it will be to the college level, not down from Quad-A to AA.

gunner, I hope also that the McGhee comment was a joke. I will keep my opinions on him to myself. Max was ten times the coach and is 100 times the person.

I think one of Cantafio's assistants (originally from Altoona) might be interested. Also, heard of another candidate who had a stint in this area and has been a head coach at 2 AAAA schools in the last 10 years who is applying.

Coach from Aliquippa....he doesn't even know Central exists, somebody's is pulling your leg goodbuddy.

The Central football job would be a good position for BarkAtTheMoon. Can you imagine someone looking like that, (check his avatar) going against the sophisicated Bailey from FH or any of the other LHAC teams.
I'm sure Fulton people know as much about football as the rest of us. They have TV's, (I think) and watch the NFL like the rest of us.
Also if Bark was hired, maybe he would have a job that would keep him busy enough to stay off BleacherCoaches forever.
(Read a few of his posts and you'll know what I mean)

Sneakers - what is up with Bark's avatar? I'd stay away from that guy because every time I see his pix I hear banjos playing in the distance.

there all kind of rumors flying around the cove about who will and has applied. It really will be interesting to see who will be hired. There are alot of good applicants that I have heard about already. Plus you have a couple assistants from Central who have applied. Coach Hoenstine and Coach Albright. It will be no easy decision but also important in this is the availability of a teaching job. Will be VERY interesting to see who gets hired.

Any rumors about Head Football Coach/AD combination were squelched last night when the Spring Cove School Board hired Frank Pannebaker as their new Athletic Director. I hadn't thought of him as a possibility (since he was elem. principal I suppose) but what a great choice!
