The Shade-Berlin game will be a great one. Shade has a lot of talent but Berlin plays very hard play within their skill set. It is a rematch from last years title game and looks to be a close one in my opinion. Shade handled them the first time with Fyock but struggled the second time needing two overtimes. Snyder is a good player who can knock down the big shots. However I see Shade winning this one and returning to UPJ.

The Shanksville-Hyndman is an interesting match-up to me. I know nothing about Hyndman, they have some wins against good teams and have put themselves in the 3 seed. Shanksville plays great as a team. They don't have one big scorer but they have proven not to need one as their record speaks for it. As a whole defensively, they are the best and most disciplined team and win by holding the opposition to low scoring games. I think in this one Shanksville pulls away and will be in the district finals at UPJ.

If Hyndman plays like they did last night, they are capable of playing with anyone in the District. They dominated the boards and got to the foul line. This should be an interesting match-up and good game. Berlin is capable of beating Shade, but they'll have to play an excellent defensive game.

Shade will have a fight but I think they pull away in 2nd half! I'm hearing that Hyndman has good shooters n can knock the 3 down! If they can jump to a big lead (10 or more points) I think Hyndman will upset Shanksville!

Shade and berlin went to double ot without ryan fyock and shade still won. Now they have ryan and shade will win that game. Anything can happen, but shade with fyock should win unless they shoot 20% and fyock and walker foul out. Two good coaches going at it again. Two good teams. Good luck to both. I say shanksville finds a way to win in the other game. You never know with playoffs though.

Shanksville may put Hyndman to sleep with their slowed down, patient offense. If Hyndman can get out and run, and play good solid defense they could pull off an upset. I will definitely be there to see this one. A friend told me Hyndman's JV coach said they played Shanksville over the summer and were competitive with Shanksville even though Torbet was injured and he played some of his JV players. So it sounds like it could be a good game.

I'm not counting Berlin out. They knocked off the best team SF last year in the 2nd round and if they put on a shooting clinic like last year they will win, not saying that'll happen but it could. Prosser is a great coach and I won't count them out.
