No what I am saying is that decent umps......did not get 1 playoff game because Goisovich picks the umps for the playoffs and he doesn't like a handful of guys so the ones he has a vendetta against didn't get any games, even though they are decent umps.....my whole point is this guy only cares about himself and his vendettas against other umps instead of giving the kids what they deserve and that's the best umps available in d6, regardless if they are his friends or not! It's not about him, it should be about the kids and the game of baseball being a fair contest,,,,,he is what gives umps a bad name, shameful cuz all he is hurting are the kids.....

No those aren't the guys I was talking about either, thanks for pointing that one out too though, didn't even notice that one, probably because there have been so many d6 screw ups this wk....once again thks to Goisovich for picking so many great umps, way to put your own agenda in front of getting the best available guys out there

The Somerset Daily American website has a picture of the runner being tagged out between third and home, but he was called safe.

What? His glove isn't going any direction. It's a still photo. No dog in the fight, didn't see the play, just noting that photo does NOT show a glove touching a runner.

Goisevich is to local umpiring what Obama is to politics. Toady-ism at its finest. EVERYONE knows Willis can't see 10 feet in front of him, and he's probably the only one who will "blindly" work with him. What used to be worse, was when the "A team" worked a game: Gois, Willis, and Bill Ladika. Ladika's son becoming an ump and wanting to work with Dad broke up the A team. Are things better now? You tell me.
It ain't over until it's over.

Uh, the picture clearly shows a tag on the left shoulder of the runner. If you still cant see it, blow up the image and look, its obvious there is contact on the runners left shoulder with the glove. If you still cant see the tag in the pic, then perhaps you shouldn't be commenting about umpires and the lack of site. The only way this runner is safe is if the ball is in the defensive players other hand, of which that also is clearly not the case.

With all due respect, you're nuts. You're assuming depth on a two-dimensional image. That glove could be touching, 2 inches or 18 inches away from the jersey.

Here's the caption of the photo as it was used in the Somerset paper:
Ian Stiffler avoids the tag in a rundown to score Somerset's only run during a District 6-AAA baseball semifinal game Thursday against visiting Huntingdon. The Eagles won, 1-0.

Also, if that's how you're going to spell "sight" perhaps you shouldn't be posting on the interwebs at all. :-o

Those of you who can't see the runner being tagged are nuts, n seriously does it matter how someone spells something, look at the pic on an iPhone or iPad where you can enlarge it. Also, what caption do you think the SOMERSET paper is going to say, their team won...........
