The game will be on the heritage conference website later in the week. All you have to do is watch it and decide for yourself. I was there and think it was one of the worst officiated games I have EVER seen.

My thoughts on this game. Penns Manor defensive line was dominate. LV could not run the ball at all. LV had only one option and that was throw the ball to Bloom. I can see why this kid is D1 bound. He made big catch after big catch being double teamed all night. Awesome performance by Bloom. Apparently you cannot tackle hard anymore in football. The refs were pathetic! Whenever Pm would make a hard tackle a flag came out. When players are stretching to get extra yards you have to take them down. PM was making aggressive hard tackles. No cheap shots! I saw Beitel complaining from the very first snap. He was on the officials early and apparently he got into their heads. Officials at this game have no business doing Big Games. Finally, you have to take your hat off to the Comets and their sophomore backup quarterback. What poise he showed taking the Comets 97 yards in 33 seconds. Unbelievable game. One for the ages!

"This Freshman is the real deal, we didn't even know how good he was. Even though he played all year last year in junior high."

"I'm tired of people saying we can't win games outside of this Class A Conference, I guess we showed them tonight"

Some of my favorites, I may have paraphrased, but I'm sure most get it.
So even after the performance bloom put on last night he's still not D1 in your book?

I hope he tears it up at UConn but it's really hard to recruit a kid like him. When your competition is pretty much boys who won't ever see a DIII football field let alone one in DI, hard to tell how you'll fit in.

Beitel was real pissed about that last play, may have a right. I want to see it online here soon. Here's his quote in Indiana gazette

“With 1 second and the ball in bounds, they were able to somehow get up to the line, snap the ball and run a play,” Ligonier Valley coach Roger Beitel said.

“That’s really good management by Penns Manor’s offense. To have everybody set and to get a play off in 1 second, that’s amazing. That’s something you don’t even see in the NFL, so kudos to them for being able to pull that off.”

Either way beitel lost that game for his team. Bloom has height and skill. It shouldn't of taken to the second half for him to get his 2nd catch. Maybe he'll his lesson. Next week I will be watching to see if he did. Idk how homer can cover bloom

What happened was PM got a first down. The officials stopped the clock to reset the chains with 1 second on the clock. LV crew took forever to get the chains reset. That gave PM time to be lined up and wait for the whistle. Stupic snapped the ball while the official was still blowing the whistle. If he want's to blame anyone blame his own chain gang!!!!

After having a chance to watch this game on tape it does appear that Ligonier got screwed on the last play...PM only had 5 players on the line of scrimmage and one of their receivers is moving when the ball was snapped...too much to let go for the officials in my opinion.

I'm glad you got to see it. Did you see all the NON personal fouls called against PM? LV should have sent their cheerleaders if the game was going to be played that way. It was a disgusting example of either bad or crooked officiating.
