2013 King of the Mountain Tournament
Hey all, for anyone following the KOM Tournament this weekend, the seeds have been posted here:
http://centralmountainhighschool.bigtea ... g-file.pdf
Bedford has wrestlers seeded at:
113: Gabriel 3rd seed
132: Easter 3rd seed
138: Thomas 7th seed
145: Brett 9th seed
It will be an extremely competitive tournament as always, and I am looking forward to seeing how Bedford's elites fare, as well as how some of the younger wrestlers do in the wrestle backs. 120 looks to be the most interesting weight with Lizak, Myers, and Pletcher, all highly nationally ranked wrestlers, going at it. I was glad to see Gabriel get down in weight to avoid those three. Easter lost to Koll of Lansing, NY last year in the finals, but this year, barring any upsets that definitely could happen, they will meet in the semis. Looking forward to a great tournament and hopefully Bedford does D5 proud and crowns a champion!
Also, it will be broadcasted online at wsqvradio.com
That is Central Mountain's radio, so it will be mostly focused on their guys, but last year they did a nice job of following all the matches going on and keeping listeners updated.
