Re: LHAC Boys Hoops
What happens when Trexler gets in foul trouble like he does in almost every big game I've seen him play? It will most likely happen a lot and McCort doesn't have another big game performer to be called upon to score.

Well, I guess we will find out during the season. I don't think McCort is helpless or anything within the LHAC without him.
He's been pretty good with staying out of foul trouble, or at least better with it. Sometimes, things are out of his hands with how he gets in foul trouble, but other times he needs to not try and block shots or make silly fouls.

Post up, a slip move and/or pump fake, then lean in and up strong with a shot. That, combined with District 6 officials, is a recipe for an overzealous HS raw athletic shot blocker to sit for over half the game.

Exactly, sometimes D6 refs can be overwhelmed with athleticism. He put up big numbers against some AAAA teams in Hollidaysburg and McDowell, did well against non district teams like Greensburg CC and West Middlesex. Sometimes being the most athletic player on the floor in local games can be a curse, and will get you in foul trouble real quick.
Manfred, Forest Hills better than we expected? I wouldn't have thought they could beat Somerset, but they did. Somerset's two best players look to be sophomores, so perhaps they may take a few weeks to get things figured.

Re: LHAC Boys Hoops
Crimson, you make a great point about him scoring in those games, but in those games McCort had other scoring options. Not sure who is going to help him score let alone get him the ball. Heck, let him get his 30 and shut the others down. Final score others 50 something, McCort 40 something.
Richland off to a good start with Flick only scoring 4. He started off slow last year also, by game 3 he was well into his groove. Will have to see what they do at BG tonight. Will need a little more scoring out of Flick tonight.
Let the games begin

Yeah those are certainly questions that need answered, but I think they have some guys that will be able to score.
