Best player in the World not picked for the Olympics
How unbelievable is it that the best player in the NHL did not get picked for the Canadian Olympic Hockey Team? I would have thought the best player would have been one of the top 25 players in Canada. Konjo? Paging Konjo.

he had two separate chances to be selected and he wasn't.... and he is the captain of an NHL team.... not sure who the bigger joke is, him or Konjo as a Flyers fan?

Hey let him have a chip on his shoulder... When Canada loses izerman will be the guy on fire because a lot of people hate his team.
And yes I know I spelled his name wrong

If that happens, then they will be asking....."Y"?
It ain't over until it's over.

I think Giroux would have been great on this team. Why, you may ask? Because the only time in Giroux career that he has played well is when you put world class players around him.
I think St Louis was a bigger snub at the original onset of the team, but he got there. This team has a ton of fire power but without stability in net, they could be in trouble. Carey Price just doesn't get me excited for a one and done tournament. USA in an upset, I like their team a lot.

To be honest, I think leaving Giroux off was a mistake. I think he is a good player and likes big moments.

Now the Flyers chairman is spouting off about the Olympic Games causing a break in the season.

This guy is a joke:
First off, the reason the NHL unlike other leagues takes a break is because in hockey it is a huge honor to represent your national team. Yet he talks out of both sides of his month because he goes on to gripe that Giroux isn't going. He claims he is better than half the guys on that roster. I would challenge him to find 4 forwards on the roster that his is better than.

What's an owner suppose to say. To be honest I'm happy with giroux not being on Olympic roster. Even with time off the amount of games being played by Canada most likely and the trip there and back will not be helpful for players. I'd much rather him be in Philly practicing and staying in shape with teammates. My underdog pick is Russia, on home ice and the year Alex is having he might carry them.
And my biggest snub for team Canada was fleury, idk why they took the goaltenders they did but that might destroy Canada

Over the past few weeks Fleury has been Canada's best netminder...

Few weeks? How about the whole season he's been the standout goaltender
