Yahoo maps put the two schools 205 miles apart....find the place 102.5 miles from each school...

Saxton to Clarion 130 miles....80 to Edinboro

Punxsutawney, PA is probably favoring Saxton a little bit...

Gateway HS is my guess, right off turnpike. Roughly 2 hours 10 minutes each way according to mapquest.

Yeah it's unpredictable, but with Forbes Road winning in boys, perhaps something in the Pittsburgh area with a D5 Boys/Girls double header.

A team from Erie vs. A team from Saxton...it'd make sense to have the game somewhere in the WPIAL. I'd say Gateway HS, but for some reason, Gateway has not been used for any playoff games this season. Neither has Franklin Regional or Hempfield.

Penn Hills and Plum both have nice facilities too and are both within a 15-20 min drive of the PA Turnpike. Penn Hills is brand new and really nice. Plum's is maybe 6 years old and features a 94 foot college court.

Wouldn't be surprised to see the game at NA, North Hills, Baldwin, Char Valley, or even Butler HS either.

Knowing the PIAA, the game will be at ClarionU.

^yes, its unpredictable. PIAA has taken some of these games to Pittsburgh area. When you go on a line you run into d9 territory. I haven't followed it as much the last couple years but don't remember them using Punxsy that much, although their gym would be nice venue for that game I imagine (unless teams have huge following). So Indiana and Clarion are possibilities even though its about 45 min to hour longer for whichever school (especially if they have another game in mind for either place and want to make a double-header).

Any possible gyms in DuBois area? That would be about 2 hr for each.

Without looking at the Double-header possibilities....PIAA better make Lincoln Park go a little further east than Monroeville (but they won't)...Obviously D5 chance in this one is none..but at least make the winners travel a little closer to Fulton County.

Probably will depend what other games being played that night could be matched up with them.
