WOW!!! Didn't hear that one but I don't see how that prepares students for after high school. I know it helps their athletic program but come on people we have to do better. Shame on the educators at that school if this is true.SportsLover61 wrote:I know that that is a problem in other sports as well. There was at least 1 basketball player that was allowed to arrive to school at 11 am everyday. Not really sure how that works...

Seeing as how Johnstown only has had one D1 basketball player in recent history.... He was the class valedictorian and was probably taking college courses from 9-11.

North Star, Westmont, Portage, Berlin and Blacklick Valley all have had 1 or more D1 basketball players come out of their school in recent years as well. All much smaller school, I would think Johnstown would have more than that.Crimson's Ghost wrote:Seeing as how Johnstown only has had one D1 basketball player in recent history.... Also Crimson you might of made Sportslover point. The only D1 basketball player that came out was taking college courses from 9-11. What about the other kids who allegedly have had grades fudged or allegedly is allowed to come to school late.
Why was 1 kid challenged to excel but the others not?
