Week 5 in Mountain League
Philipsburg @ Chestnut Ridge
Mounties don't get a break from the schedule with another playoff hopeful.
PO losing streak will hit 12
Ridge 42 PO 14
Huntingdon @ Penns Valley
A must win for eithers playoff chances. The Cats are getting healthy, done with the meat grinder portion of their schedule, with their 3 losses to 2 unbeatens and Clearfield ( who they led into the 3rd).the rams are maturing, but the cats start their playoff push.
H-don 20 PV 13
BEA @ Central
The Eagles seem to have spun their tires recently.
They better find some chains... Quick.
Central 35 BEA 14
Bellefonte @ Tyrone
Young Raiders have found some firepower with Jabco and Jackson and keep improving. They may hang around a while, but the Eagles will exploit their lack of aerial power and will eventually roll the Visitors.
Tyrone 39 Bellefonte 13
GOW*****
Brockway @ Clearfield
Unbeaten Brockway is putting up filthy numbers vs almost exclusively a A schedule. Clearfield is not A! This will be a good one. Brockway's balance will put up some points, but will their stout defense hold up to a Janocko offense?
I think so, barely
Brockway 28 Clearfield 24

Hope so... Used to be a great rivalry. Don't look good right now

Re: Week 5 in Mountain League
They are supposed to have a good 9th grade class. Was talk about moving some of them up early. I guess the final decision was to keep them as a group and not let them get beat upon all year
