Here is Connor Slomka, the running back going to Army. And here is the run that got a lot of people buzzing.

Just out of pure curiosity, did he get penalized for hurdling on this play ?!?!? Because that right there is the definition of what that penalty Is. I'm not a fan of not being able to hurdle as per the PIAA Rules, however I guess I see the safety side of it.

The ruling was that the defender's knee was on the ground, thus making it legal. They found out it actually wasn't after the fact, but no he wasn't penalized.

I agree on this one as well Crimson. Whoever thought putting just a gigantic stripe down the middle of the helmet was a good design...failed lol

Helmets are ugly as sin, but the talent is there. Altoona beats a WeakPac All-Star team 42-7.

Supposedly the Altoona helmet is meant as a through back to what the old helmets looked like years ago. Not a fan of the look but there was a reason behind it.
