Here is how I have it.

NFL MVP Aaron Rodgers: pretty much sealed the deal yesterday coming back and still putting on a show with 1 leg. Packers need him more than any other team needs a player

AFC offensive player of the year Antonio Brown: leads the NFL in yards, receptions and 1st down receptions. Clearly the heartbeat of the steelers offense.

AFC defensive player of the year Justin Houston: NFL leader in sacks at 22 and the leader of the 7th best defense in terms of total yards and number 2 in total points he has my vote for this award.

NFC offensive player of the year Demarco Murray: he's the knew heartbeat of the cowboys and had a very impressive year.

NFC defensive player of the year: Richard Sherman: on the leagues top defense he's the heart and sole of the sea chickens. Teams have thrown more at him in recent weeks and because of that he has picked up some key interceptions.

Coach of the year: Bruce Arians: amazing Job with a cardinals team that has had multiple injury and qb issues all year long.

We all know you hate JJ Watt but he is going to win DPOY and probably end up neck and neck with Rodgers for the MVP trophy..

Here is an excerpt from a Bill Simmons article on Watt (wrote on Friday before Week 17)...

"Player A: 17.5 sacks, 43 hits, 49 hurries, 10 tipped passes, 56 stops

Player B: 18 sacks, 11 hits, 53 hurries, 5 tipped passes, 46 stops

Player A is J.J. Watt. Player B is the pooled-together stats for Justin Houston, Ndamukong Suh, Ryan Kerrigan, and Connor Barwin if you cherry-picked their highest possible totals. So J.J. Watt’s season is slightly better than the combined highest numbers of the next six guys. Oh, and he has 25 tackles for a loss, three forced fumbles, five fumble recoveries, an 80-yard interception TD (the longest by a defensive lineman in the past 10 years), a 45-yard fumble return TD and three TD catches. And he’s getting double-teamed pretty much all the time now. If you take him off Houston, it’s immediately a 3-13 team."

JJ Watt is a once in a generation type talent that absolutely deserves to be in the MVP discussion.

I just can't consider him an MVP for 2 reasons.

1. His team missed the playoffs
2. His team is middle of the pack in total yards and points. I understand the debate for DPOY but I just look at the schedule that Kansas city played and find Houston's season more impressive

The Chiefs played 6 games against playoff teams. The Texans played 6 games against playoff teams.

Look at the revolving door of bad QBs the Texans used this year... The fact that they even had a shot at making the playoffs is impressive. I don't think Watt wins the MVP either but I'll bet ya he finishes top 3, at worst.

Kansas city played against 5 teams with a losing record the Texans played 8.
