I agree the schedule is easy next year. I will be disappointed if Penn State does not win 9 games and they could possibly win 10, but who knows what injuries will occur between now and the start of the season. As a Pitt fan, Moldo, you should know that an easy schedule guarantees nothing. Pitt had a very easy schedule and ended up 6-6.

I may need to revise this already. Donovan Smith OL and Deion Barnes DE are leaving for the NFL draft. Both are not huge losses, but will hurt the depth on the OL and DL. I think in the long run this helps for 2016, but hurts for 2015.

I expect Garret Sickles and Torrence Brown(Redshirt Freshman who received rave reviews all year) to replace. PSU does have true freshman Buckholtz, Kamonte Carter, and probably Shareef Miller coming in.

If Anthony Zettel leaves, that changes everything.

Zettel would be a big loss and actually would prob be the one that makes the most sense going pro. Smith will be missed if only for his experience and lack of OL depth. Makes the Palmer commitment that much bigger. DE has some guys ready to step in and Barnes has been a very nice player but was never able to match his freshman year production. Nassib and Sickels are ready to play and played well when given the opportunity this year. Also redshirt freshman Torrence Brown and true freshman Kamonte Carter, Ryan Buchholz and Jon Holland are waiting in the wings. Here's hoping Zettel and Jesse James decide to stick around for another year.

Jon Holland is playing tight end in college. Why? I don't know I'd rather have him at DE

He'll eventually get moved to DE or linebacker. Tight End is one of Penn States only positions with a lot of depth and he is believed to be better at defense.
