No, he just wants one classification. Ridiculous! There need to be 5-6 classifications. If you think that cheapens something oh well. Don't pay attention to PA football anymore. There will still be around 97 teams per classification if they go to six.

Quite honestly 4 classes is perfect. What piaa needs to do is re balance the districts into 16 districts with equal representation. Just in A alone D6 and D7 make up over 50% of the A teams.

how do you do that? It's an interesting topic alone. While d7 and d6 make up a large portion of the a/aa brackets d3/11/12 make up a larger portion of the AAA/AAAA bracket. so basically you have the east with larger and west with smaller schools. I really noticed that doing our all star teams.

I don't think it would be possible to make them equal. However they could break up district 7 by using the D8 classification. And redo the D5/D6 to make it more even.

I don't think its impossible just don't hold districts to a geographical location. Maybe D4A is in Central PA and d4AA is in northeast PA

In Ohio, each division has its own four geographical regions (D1 has only two in the most recent setup). Ohio does have districts (similar to PA), but they have no bearing on football (other sports use them, though).
