If the line can open up the holes they did last year. Which they should 4 starters back n one from 2 years ago. Gary Weaver is a star in the making last year when he touched the ball he scored or had big runs. Quarterback n some of the receivers n defensive secondary are young but talented. I've talked to some of the kids they are more pumped than last year to get going. Passing game early May be n issue but once it gets going watch out cause up front Tyrone is gonna be a powerhouse. I can't wait September 4th can't come soon enough. Friday Night Lights best time of year .

How does Somerset fit into the equation? Do they have a lot returning?

Somerset will be highly ranked in most polls...they won't miss a beat from last yearanimus wrote:How does Somerset fit into the equation? Do they have a lot returning?

Agreed. Barnes, Heiple, and a stout line both sides will be tough for most teams.
It ain't over until it's over.

They are still AAA aren't they?

Somerset is AAA. Them and Clearfield will be a very good game should they meet. Johnstown will also be a little better.

Somerset doesn't fit into the AA equation being AAA and D5. But they should be the team to beat in the D5,6,8,9 sub region.animus wrote:How does Somerset fit into the equation? Do they have a lot returning?

My bad guys. For some reason I thought they were 2A.

I think Bedford would be a contender IF they played D6 this year.

Personally if I were Coach Wilson I would have to give some serious consideration to sticking an eligible number on one of these guys and have them at tight end. Add even more power to the running game. Just my thought.Injuries, biggest game changer in all sports. Here's food for thought why some of the Tyrone posters are excited. Yes you know about the 4 returning starters up front. Here's the kicker, they also welcome back Chronister who started as a sophomore and sat out last year with injury, and Colyer was looking at PT or possibly starting before hanging it up for wrestling... They lost 1 starter... Added 2 starters not counting the youngins moving up. The Eagles will be rotating linemen better than most teams best lineman. That helps a ton when breaking in a bunch of young speed guys. I'm getting anxious talking about it
